Reza Sepahdari

 

 

Internationally renowned painter and graphic artist Reza Sepahdari  grew up in Iran amid the richness of Persian culture and the atmosphby  of free will promoted by the doctrine of Zoroastrianism.

 

 

His discovery of Da Vinchi and Michelangelo at age 14 changed his life forever. He devoted himself to following in thier footsteps and trained as a fine artist at the University of Tehran. Spahdari has gone on to the create animated films in Iran, frescoes in Italy,portraits in Greece, surreal landscapes in Spain, and to study cutting-edge computer imaging techniques at the University of torento.He has recently presented several successful exhibitons in British Columbia,and has created CD covers for Paul Simon and Sting.

Reza takes great joy in uniting his prodigious skills as a painter and his penetrating insight into classical forms with the newest imaging technology. He uses all available media tocreate image with a timeless resonance that are also entierly new. the result  is a large body of work starting in its depth and freshness . Peace, hope and a sense of genuine freedom permeate all of Sepahdari's works,offering the viewer a direct experience of the sublim.

          Rumi's poetry has inspried Reza in many of his painting  works  throughout the  years.  His   ability to illustrate the movements which follows the power of Rumi's spontaneous  poetic  derives is  somewhat unique.
