Ali Roozbahani

Ali Roozbahani is a performance poet, lecturer of Rumi's books and founder of Khaneye Molana. He is also the teacher of the whirling movement.

He was born on the 24th of September 1974 in Tehran, Iran. At the age of twelve he started studying Hafez's poems, the famous Persian mystical poet.

He was participating in spiritual classes when he heard Rumi's poetry for the first time.

He then allocated the next few years of his life studying, understanding, and integrating Rumi's works. He was only eighteen when he started the practical spiritual training with a great spiritual master. He spent many years deeply involved in his own spiritual growth.

After graduating from university in Nutrition Science with bachelor's degree, he continued his edification in Molana’s path for ten years, which led him to establish "Molana’s Gathering" (Persian: محفل مولانا).

Major purpose of these gatherings was to help those who were passionate about spiritual growth.

He was encouraged by a famous Persian mystical poet (Abu-Saeed-Abulkheir) that said, "All the prophets and leaders came to tell people to move one step forward in their own spiritual growth continuously."

He tried to be among those who never stop and those who constantly try to move forward.

He acquired a sense of love, peace, growth, forgiveness, passion, enthusiasm and nonjudgment from Molana; he is continuing the same path of empowering other people through teaching Molana’s myticism.
